Roadmap
What's built, what's next, what isn't
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Distiqo is in private beta. This page is our honest picture: what works today, what we're working on, and what we haven't built. It's a direction, not a delivery promise — we don't put dates on things we can't stand behind.
1. Working today — Distribution OS
- Orders from WhatsApp. Understood, matched to your items, checked for stock and credit, drafted — and created only when you approve.
- Billing and invoicing. Point-of-sale billing, GST invoices, invoice templates you design, extra charges such as freight, partial invoicing against challans.
- Purchases and stock. Purchase bills read from PDF or Excel, goods receipt, batch and expiry, stock ledger, reorder suggestions recomputed weekly.
- Collections and money. Overdue accounts ranked, reminders drafted for approval, promise-to-pay tracking, receipts allocated to invoices, supplier payments, expenses, bank reconciliation.
- Accounts and GST. Ledgers with drill-down to source, credit and debit notes, perpetual inventory, GST liability and input-credit tracking, return data ready to file.
- Field and dispatch. Beats and routes, van loading, delivery tracking, salesman visits and targets.
- Understanding your business. A Command Center, a daily inbox of recommendations, an assistant you can ask questions, and a report builder that turns a sentence into a report.
- Quotations and advances. Quotations that turn into orders, customer advances adjusted against later bills, and part-payments at billing.
- Getting started. Import your existing data from Excel and your accountant's exports.
2. Working today — Retailer OS
- Billing at the counter. Full GST bills or a Quick Bill slip, barcode scanning with the phone camera or a scanner, Cash, UPI, credit or part-payment.
- Loose items. Items sold by weight or volume with a price per kilo or litre; Quick Bill takes the quantity or the rupee amount.
- Customer credit. Credit only against a named customer, part-payments, advances, credit aging, and a one-tap WhatsApp reminder from the shop's own number.
- Buying and stock. Purchases from any supplier, stock per branch and transfers between branches, damages, stock checks.
- Books and GST. Every sale, purchase and payment posts to the books; GST returns for registered shops, bills of supply for the rest.
- Knowing what to stock. Forecasts of what runs out when, and what's selling in shops nearby (only from five or more shops).
- Quotations, staff and roles. Quotations for bulk buyers, and staff logins that see only what their role allows.
3. Working today — the network
- Connecting. A distributor invites its shops, or a shop asks to connect; nothing is shared until the link is accepted.
- Ordering. A shop orders from its distributor's catalogue; the order arrives as a draft the distributor reviews and bills.
- Bills become stock. A distributor's bill appears in the shop's Retailer OS and goes into stock in one tap.
- Sell-through. Where a shop shares it, the distributor sees how its own products are selling in that shop. Shops can switch it off per distributor.
4. What we're working on
- Faster first day. Making the first import smarter: read your existing files, show what's ready and what needs a look, and let you confirm rather than re-enter.
- Proving our security claims. An independent penetration test, signed data-processing agreements with our providers, and pinning all hosting to India regions.
- Privacy housekeeping. Switching on scheduled clean-up of old logs and data once retention periods are finalised, and clearer consent capture for call recordings and location.
- Recovery drills. Running and recording a timed restore so our recovery targets are measured, not just stated.
5. Further out
Formal security certification (SOC 2 or ISO 27001) after the work above. We'll only announce it when an auditor has signed off.
6. Not built yet
- A live two-way sync with your accounting software. Import in and export out both work; a continuous sync does not exist.
- Automatic matching of GSTR-2B with your purchase books. Distiqo keeps clean input-tax records so the matching is easy, but the matching itself is done by you or your accountant.
- Scheduled credit reminders for shops. Reminders are prepared in one tap and sent by you; they don't go out on a schedule by themselves.
- Loose items in the full billing screen. Loose items are billed through Quick Bill today.
- Festival and seasonal patterns in shop forecasts. Forecasts follow recent sales; they don't yet anticipate Diwali or the wedding season.
- Ordering from suppliers who aren't on Distiqo. Their bills are entered by hand.
